From March 2009 onwards, Rate of EMD for coal eAuctions for CIL and its Subsidiary Companies shall be as follows:

(i) @ Rs 500/- per tonne for Coal of Grade 'E' and above,

(ii) @ Rs 400/- per tonne for Coal of Grade 'F' and below.

Mode of EMD Payment :

EMD may be deposited by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘MSTC LIMITED EMD COAL - Name of the bidder’ payable at Kolkata and should be accompanied with a Bank Debit Advice
