Shri Manobendra Ghoshal has assumed charge as Chairman and Managing Director of MSTC Ltd on 1st January 2024.

Shri Manobendra Ghoshal is from the Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (SCRA 1985 batch). He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India).

In a career spanning 23 years in Indian Railways and 10 years in RITES Ltd., he served many leadership positions. As Chief Strategy Officer, RITES, for the past two years, he was responsible for conceptualising multidimensional changes; from changes in organisational setup, business & operational procedures and to elevate work culture. It was also his role to convince the Management on the imperative & follow up and handhold all the Verticals for the successful implementation.

He has been a Nominee Director on the Board of SRBWIPL, a JV of SAIL and RITES for manufacture of Wagons.

In RITES, he has worked in the production, operation, maintenance, and marketing of rolling stock, transport infrastructure, and related services for Export customers. He spearheaded the exports of trainsets, coaches and locomotives to Sri Lanka from 2016 onwards, securing orders of over 200 million USD and subsequent execution.

He has also headed the Transaction Advisory domain for RITES.

In the Indian Railways, having held several key positions throughout his career, Shri Ghoshal has wide exposure and experience in various areas, including workshop management, rolling stock operation, design and production of rolling stock, as well as policy and planning functions of rolling stock acquisition for the Railways. He has led projects such as technology transfer and indigenization of modern electric locomotives and managed complex workshops tackling technology upgradation, facility realignment, and human capital issues through reskilling and restructuring.

Shri Ghoshal holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Institution of Engineers of India (IEI), Kolkata.

Subrata Sarkar, aged forty eight (48) years is the Director (Finance), CFO and Whole Time Director of our Company. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Bhagalpur University and has been an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has over twenty (20) years of experience in finance and accounts. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Sarkar Mitra & Mitra, Chartered Accountants as a Partner. He has been associated with our Company since May, 2001.

Mrs. Bhanu Kumar, is the Director (Commercial) of MSTC Ltd. She has a master's degree in science from the University of Delhi and degree in management. She has over thirty (30) years of experience in Trading, Contracts, Commercial Operations, Recycling, and e-Commerce. She has been associated with MSTC for more than 3 decades.

She is responsible for all the business operation, development of the company. She has vast experience in diversified sectors and is instrumental in digitising commercial transactions.

Shri Vinod Kumar Tripathi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel, Government of India, belongs to Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE-1995). He is a Civil Engineering graduate from IIT Roorkee. He has done advance management courses from NAIR Baroda, INSEAD Singapore and Leadership and Governance Centre (ICLIF) Kuala Lumpur. He has also got training in Strategic Management from ISB Hyderabad.

He has vast experience in administration, management and engineering. This includes public policy, mega construction projects, train operations and asset maintenance, technological advancement, procurement and inventory management and human resource management. Presently he is Joint Secretary in Ministry of Steel, Government of India.

Shri Ramesh Kumar Soni is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Born in 1962, he did his graduation from Ravishankar University, Raipur (Chhattisgarh).

He is a practicing Chartered Accountant in Jagdalpur, District Bastar (Chhattisgarh). He has been consultant and Statutory Auditor for various Private Limited Companies, Bank Branches, Industrial Units, Health Sector Units and Non-profit making organizations ever since the beginning of his professional career. He has been associated with various MSME Business Units and has helped them in establishing & improving their business. He has also served as Independent Director in Central Coalfields Limited.

He possesses professional expertise in wide areas such as Statutory Audits, Concurrent Audits, Stock Audits, Financial Management, Direct Taxes, Investment Consultancy. He has given lectures in District Industrial Centre, Chamber of Commerce, Schools, and various non-profit making organizations in the field of his professional expertise.

He has also given lectures on Career Guidance, Education and Professional Opportunities in the field of Commerce at various Seminars organized by Schools and Non-profit making organizations.

Alka Chandrakar is an experienced social worker with a background in public service and community engagement, demonstrating leadership and dedication in various capacities, and a proven ability to connect with communities and promote initiatives. She holds a degree in B.Sc. and has PGDCA and was born on September 05, 1978.

Her extensive experience includes serving two terms as a District Panchayat Member and two terms as State Vice President of a women's organization. She has been a State Member of the Chhattisgarh Nutrition Campaign and District Convenor for the "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" initiative. She has also served as the State Convenor for the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.

Shri Chandra Shekhar Baghel is a distinguished academic and committed social worker with a deep-rooted engagement in youth and cooperative movements. He holds a postgraduate degree in Mathematics from Guru Ghasidas University (1998) and was born on October 20, 1975. Shri Baghel has a background in youth and cooperative initiatives. His current roles include State Convenor of the National Yuva Cooperative Society Ltd. (NYCS) and Project Officer with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), Chhattisgarh.

Shri Baghel has strong advocacy for the cooperative model, skill development and sustainable employment opportunities.

Shri Ashwini Kumar, aged about forty-six years (46 years) holds a degree in MA Economic, from Jawahar Lal Nehru University and also holds M. Phil degree from the same University. He is an Officer of the Indian Economic Service (IES) and has been involved in formulation of public policies, macroeconomic policies in particular. At present, he is Economic Adviser, Ministry of Steel, Government of India. He has a rich work experience of more than 19 years in various fields of administration, public policy, public finance, development economics and econometrics.

Gangaram Aloria, aged sixty two (62) is a Non-Official (Independent) Director of our Company. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and also holds a degree in Bachelor of Law (Academic) from Gujarat University. He has over thirty five (35) years of experience in public service and administration. Prior to being appointed as a Director of our Company, he served as an Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Gujarat, Urban Development & Urban Housing Department, Sachivalya, Gandhinagar and was later appointed as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat, Sachivalya, Gandhinagar with effect from May 31, 2015.

Murali Vallabhan, aged sixty (60) years is a Non-Official (Independent) Director of our Company. He holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Kerala. He also holds a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Politics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. He was a reader in economics at SVR NSS College and was appointed as the head of department of Economics, SVR NSS College, Vazhoor. Since 1995, he has been associated with several organisations in various capacities such as visiting faculty, deputy director, speaker etc. He has over thirty (30) years of experience as an academician. Rudramauni Shivayogeppa Yeli, aged sixty eight (68) years is a Non-Official (Independent) Director of our Company. He holds the degree of Master of Arts (Final) Sociology from the Karnatak University, Dharwad, Master of Education (New) from Karnatak University, Dharwad. He also holds a degree in Doctor of Philosophy in education from Karnatak University, Dharwad. He has over forty (40) years of experience as an academician.

Pravati Parida, aged fifty two (52) is the Non-Official (Independent) Director of our Company. She holds a degree of Bachelors of Law from Utkal University. She also holds the certificate in women’s empowernment and development from Indira Gandhi National Open University. She has over twenty two (22) years of experience as an advocate & social – worker.

Aparna Chaturvedi, aged sixty (60) years is a Non-Official (Independent) Director of our Company. She holds degree of Bachelors in Science and Master of Business Administration from Lucknow University. She was awarded a British Chevening Scholarship by Foreign and Commonwealth Office in relation to the senior executive course at Manchester Business School. She is a financial expert with over thirty five (35) years of experience in project finance, funds management, corporate insolvency, resolution & reconstruction of non-performing assets, asset reconstruction private equity Investments etc. Prior to joining our Company, she was associated with UTI Mutual Fund since March 7, 1989 till August 31, 2016.

Ajay Kumar Rai, aged forty four (44) years is a Company Secretary of our Company. He was designated as the Compliance Officer of our Company for the purposes of SEBI Listing Regulations with effect from December 7, 2018. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He also holds the degree of Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calcutta and the Bachelors of Law from Utkal University. He also holds a post graduate diploma in personel management from National Institute of Personnel Management. He has over 19 (nineteen) years of experience in legal and secretarial compliances.

Ms. Sudershan Mendiratta, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel, Government of India belongs to Central Secretariat Service, with over 20 years of experience in public administration and financial management. She is currently serving as Joint Secretary, Administration in Ministry of Steel and had served as Deputy Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Defence. Her rich and diverse experience includes significant tenures in the Ministry of Jal Shakti and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), where she was involved in policy formulation and implementation in sectors critical to national development.

She has enhanced her professional expertise through various national training programs, including courses on Gender Budgeting, the International Programme on Budgeting, Accounting & Financial Management, and the Public Procurement Framework of the Government of India.
